Cedarwoods Schoolhouse

Community Service for Parents

Our hope at Cedarwoods is to build a healthy and thriving community and to give our students every tool they need for success.  Studies indicate that when parents are involved in their children’s education, the children achieve greater personal and academic success.  Therefore all school families are expected to perform 40 hours of school service hours during the school year.

Ideally, we strive to match the duties you perform with your skills and interests. You can help us in our effort by completing this Community Service Hours Form included in the admissions packet and returning it to school. Please complete one form for each parent.

Service Hours Policy

As part of the tuition agreement with Cedarwoods Schoolhouse, all families are required to perform 40 hours of service to the school, per year. If at the time hours are due, a family is short of the required hours, the school will invoice the family for the remaining hours at $15/hour with all funds due and payable by May 31, 2009.
